RAISING EDUCATION DOLLARS (RED)
FOR DCG STUDENTS

OUR WHY

College today is expensive. Tuition and the cost of living have increased so much so that college has become an unaffordable option for some students.

​

The DCG Education Foundation was created to provide scholarship opportunities to students of the DCG school district. We are an independent 501(c)3 organization that cares about the post-secondary options available for our students. While independent from the DCG Community School District, we work together to educate our students, staff, and parents to bring our vision and mission to the Dallas Center and Grimes communities.

THE RED DINNER & AUCTION

The RED event is our largest fundraiser each year. By bringing the district communities together, we are able to raise money to provide RED scholarships - 4-year renewable scholarships that help make a solid dent in the costs of college.

​

It's simple - the more we raise the more we can give.

Members of the Dallas Center and Grimes communities. If you support DCG students, then you should attend!

(The silent auction is held online and open to everyone - no ticket is needed to bid on items!)

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

The event is business casual to professional dress. Wear something RED if you can.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?

- A delicious plated dinner

- Two drink tickets

- An opportunity to bid on live auction items

HOW DO I DONATE ITEMS FOR AUCTION?

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?

5:00 Social Hour

6:00 Dinner

7:00 Live Auction

WHO WILL I SIT WITH?

If you purchase a table, you will sit with your table guests.

If you purchase individual tickets, we will assign you a seat so you can mingle!

HOW DO I BID ON THE SILENT AUCTION?

We will open the silent auction for online bidding the week of the event. Watch our social media channels, or subscribe to our email list to receive notice when it opens!

Anyone can bid on silent auction items - no ticket required!

DO I NEED CASH?

We accept cash, check or credit card at the event.

​

Silent auction items should be paid for through the online auction site.

​

WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND?

Bummer. We still welcome your cash donations (use the button at the top of our site) or you can bid on silent auction items from anywhere!

HOW WILL I GET THE  ITEMS I WON?

If you are present at the event, you can take them that night.

​

If you were not present, we will have someone reach out to coordinate pickup of your item(s).
