Kathie Hicok Fine Arts Memorial Scholarship
Kathie Hicok was a life long lover of the fine arts. She and her husband Kent raised their children within the DCG community. Kathie’s career and her service life were wrapped around education and providing the best for our students. Kathie was the DCG Board President for many years, an active FOFA member and supporter. Kathie ‘won’ her battle with Pancreatic Cancer, and this scholarship is in her memory.


Class of 1974 Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established by members of the graduating class of 1974 of Dallas Community Schools, as DC-G was then called.


DCG Booster Club Scholarship
The DCG Booster Club is committed to promoting and fostering interest in and goodwill toward all athletic activities associated with the Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District.


Mel Bauman Accounting Scholarship
Mel Bauman graduated from Grimes back in the late 50s. When Mel's granddaughter graduated in 2025, the family noticed there wasn’t a accounting scholarship and have decided to establish one for this field of study.


Royer-Dyer Scholarship
The sponsors are Jean Royer Dyer and her husband Frederick, who live in Dallas Center. Jean graduated from Dallas Center High School.


Paul & Eleanor Little Scholarship
Paul and Eleanor Little, from Panora Iowa, have a rich history within the Panorama School District of sponsoring scholarships to graduating seniors. Paul grew up in Dallas Center, and went to school in our


Steve Keller Memorial FFA Scholarship
We are pleased to announce a scholarship available to two senior members of the DCG FFA. This scholarship is provided for by the Steve Kell


Glen Brewer Memorial Scholarship
Glenn Brewer was a graduate of Dallas Center High School. He worked in the grocery industry for most of his life, in Joliet, Il. He retired


DCGEF Board Character Does Count Scholarship
This scholarship is available to any current DCG senior pursuing a post-secondary education, and who has demonstrated leadership.
